Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to strengthen the Cell Line Development (CLD) and Upstream Development (USP) departments

Your tasks in our team:

  • Planning and practical execution of cell culture work to generate stable cell lines to produce biologics or biosimilars and their testing in bioreactor systems (Ambr 15, DASGIP systems)
  • Execution and optimization of transfections, pool generation, single-cell cloning, clone selection and fed-batch experiments
  • Continuous improvement of technologies and workflows
  • Sample analysis (e.g., confluence measurement, cell counting, glucose determination, metabolite determination) and operation of computerized equipment
  • General laboratory organization, including maintenance, cleaning and servicing technical equipment
  • Careful, independent execution and documentation of all work and experiments

 

What we expect from you:

  • Certified as a Biotechnical Assistant (BTA, CTA) or graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Biotechnology
  • You have practical experience working with mammalian cell cultures; experience in cultivation in controlled bioreactor systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of molecular biology, e.g., cloning, ELISA and Western blotting, rounds out your profile but is not mandatory
  • You enjoy working in the laboratory
  • You work in a structured and responsible manner and enjoy new challenges

  • You have a solid understanding of basic chemical calculations and are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • You speak fluent German and understand instructions in English
